We are now aggressively fundraising to "Fight the Battle" for bad zoning! The Developer has submitted two zoning proposals to Cheltenham & Springfield Townships.  We (the neighbors) MUST fight this action.

We have formed a Pennsylvania not for profit corporation and need your donations. Please send whatever you can to;

Welcome to the developer's vision for Laverock Hill.

The Developer is trying to change the zoning laws to give them a "BY-RIGHT" zoning ordinance to build the following;

113 Townhouses
50 Single-Family Homes
250-Seat Commercial Events Facility with
198 Parking Spaces

All of this on only 42 acres!

Please remember to tell anyone else that may be interested in being informed of this project.

Please register on the "Contact Us" page to be kept informed via emails from the Steering Committee.

Originally built in 1890, Laverock Hill had been the home of the Starr family for almost 100 years. Isaac T. Starr hired famed architect Charles A. Platt to design the current buildings & legendary landscape architect, Ellen Biddle Shipman designed the garden layout & plantings in 1915, which remain completely intact today.

One of the last vestiges of open space that straddles Cheltenham & Springfield Townships, this beautiful 42+ acre estate may be lost forever.
